Wake Refill is Charleston's zero-waste refill store offering everyday essentials in refillable, compostable, or meant to last a lifetime formats. Our mission is to promote the mutual flourishing of all people and the planet through innovative, compassionate, and waste-free thinking. We are a family-owned and operated business and are now looking to grow our tiny team for the very first time.
The perfect candidate will be someone with weekend availability who is passionate about the welfare of both people and the planet, loves connecting with their neighbors, and works well independently. Retail or hospitality experience is a bonus but not required.
- Manage register and sales transactions
- Provide a hospitable and engaging experience for clients
- Develop a thorough understanding of Wake's inventory to offer product recommendations and knowledge
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment within the shop
- Adhere to all shop policies and procedures
- Represent the Wake Refill mission and ethos of compassion, education, and connection to all who walk through our door
