Plastic cotton bud stems are a light plastic, meaning they float on the water's surface. This alongside their small shape means they make they fall through waste management systems and out into marine environments through regular sewage outfalls.

This is an issue because these plastic pieces end up in our oceans. These materials are compostable and will degrade much more rapidly and be responsibly disposed of at home through compost.

Materials: 100 Birch Wood and Organic Cotton Swabs in Paperboard packaging.

End of Life:  Paperboard packaging is recyclable or compostable. Wood and cotton can go in your compost bin!
