If You Care Compostable Trash Bags are made with potato starch, making them strong and polyethylene-free. The starch comes from non-food starch potatoes, leading to a 40% reduction in land usage compared to corn. These bags are home compostable or can be sent to industrial composting sites. Note: they are meant to break down so bags left in your compost bucket for extended periods of time may begin to compost. Change the liner of your pail regularly to avoid this.
